难民潮的阴影在欧洲扩散，内战的枪声在索马里肆虐，叙利亚的战火还在蔓延，死亡的阴影还笼罩着这个世界上的很多地方。这个世界对于和平的呼声和渴望从未消失。

The shadow of the refugee influx is spreading in Europe, the sound of civil war is raging in Somalia, the fighting in Syria is spreading, and the shadow of death is hanging over many parts of the world. The world’s call and desire for peace has never disappeared.

我们是幸运的。生活在美丽的校园里，享受完善的教学设施，品尝美味的一日三餐，被亲人、同学和老师的爱所包围。我们烦恼作业布置太多，烦恼学习生活缺乏娱乐世界和平日，烦恼各种零零碎碎的琐事，而在我们看不见的角落，一些人，他们烦恼的，却是如何活下去。

We are lucky. Living on a beautiful campus, enjoying perfect teaching facilities, tasting delicious meals three meals a day, surrounded by the love of loved ones, classmates and teachers. We worry too much about homework, worry about learning life lack of entertainment, worry about all kinds of piecemeal trivia, and in the corner we can’t see, some people, they worry about how to live.

Today, we stand here, grateful for what we have, and feel a sense of mission that we must do something to change the world. As students of Xinhua Academy, a student at this international school, we must have compassion and sympathy on these sufferings and wars, and we must have a responsibility and action. We share the responsibility of protecting the planet and are committed to creating a more peaceful and better world.

Don’t think that our strength is very small, we focus on the present, serious study academic, start from a small place, bit by bit, embrace the desire for peace, think about what we can do for the world. We believe that one day we can illuminate others and be part of a great cause beyond the individual.

黄睿同学：“在世界和平日这样一个日子里，我们做了一个关于和平的涂鸦。我想用一颗和平的心来看待这个世界，希望世界上的战火少一些，国家和国家之间的冲突越来越少，希望世界永远和平。”

张子豪同学：“我们合唱《Imagine》这首歌，表达自己心里的感受。我希望人们少拿枪，多拿书，不要用战争来解决任何问题。”

一个星球，一个人类。当我们从更广阔的视野看待周围，我们便深深知道，地球上的一切都休戚相关。将他人纳入自己的世界中，去奉献，去对那些想要帮助的人们施以援手。

One planet, one human being. When we look around from a broader perspective, we know that everything on earth is closely related. Bring others into our own world, learn to give and help others.
