江湾体育场位于大学路最东端，是整条大学路东向视角的终点，也是本次改造提升的重要节点。它曾经背负着远东第一体育场的恢弘记忆，我们仿佛可以听到百年时光中的那些激情和呐喊。当灯光晕染上它厚重的砖石墙面，这座沉默端庄的美丽建筑，在节日盛典时刻仿佛从历史的记忆中醒来，闪过无数运动的身姿，回望红色峥嵘的征程与光荣；平日它温柔又神秘，好似漂入海底的一座梦幻城堡，又像飞向梵高星空的一场绮丽幻梦。
